The output was initially used by a specially created reports generator, and later by Cognos reporting tool.
- Debug and modify existing legacy and BPCS programs to address program design shortcomings and meet new business requirements.
- Created new programs based on collaborative specifications to augment BPCS functionality primarily in Order Processing (ORD) and Purchasing (PUR) modules.
- Complete support for BPCS Order Entry, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Sales Analysis, DRP and other applications. Develop and apply modifications to BPCS applications to fit the requirements provided by the client.
- Create new programs to interface with BPCS (i.e. sales and purchasing reports, generator of bills of lading as an intermediate step between order confirmation and invoicing, etc.) as well as stand-alone applications per client's request utilizing ILE and RPG-embedded SQL.
