Responsibilities:

  • Patch management and vulnerability remediation for Unix and Linux systems performing tasks as System administrator.
  • Shell scripting to automate pre & post checks during the patching activities.
  • Coordinate different process improvement efforts for a better efficiency in our process decreasing human error, time to patch servers and providing a better service to our client.
  • Manage all the patching pre - work activities for Solaris servers before maintenance windows (Run scripts, troubleshoot, fix issues, ticket creation for escalations, tickets follow up, status page control, crosschecks, etc.).
  • Responsible for Core OS Patching of Solaris coordinating the team to complete patching activities according to our SLA.
