  • Responsible for evaluating and approving storage requests (EMC, Hitachi, NetApp, and various types of flash storage) and making sure they follow best practices and also meet and satisfy teh existing file system layout (stripe, concatenation, mirror, etc.).
  • Developed SOPs (Standard of Procedures) and guidelines for different types of operational support. Wrote scripts and run them daily as cron jobs on all servers to proactively detect software and hardware issues. Evaluated system performance issues, identified and eliminated bottlenecks.
