Responsibilities:
- Have been involved in projects to integrate new product line acquisitions, product line plant and warehouse migrations and in product line migrations from NABS to SAP and PLEX ERP Systems using COBOL, DB2, SQL, JCL and IMS, helping Federal Mogul grow the business.
- Developed the Accounts Payable System linking NABS to the SAP PP to provide Vendor and Purchase Order details for reconciliation against Invoices received from our vendors. This system was developed in COBOL using DB2, JCL and various mainframe utilities. This enabled Federal Mogul to stay current with their obligations to their suppliers.
- Most recently I have been involved with the ongoing Mainframe Elimination Project to move all processing off of the mainframe and onto other ERP Systems such as SAP and PLEX. The project was developed using mainframe COBOL, DB2, FOCUS, JCL, batch SQL, MS Access and various other mainframe utilities. This project led to an annual savings in excess of $1,000,000.
