Responsible for the city-wide strategic planning for IT, supervision and management of the Information Technology Department consisting of 34 full time positions and a budget of approximately $8M.
Formulated & justified the annual departmental budget ($4-8 million); ensured departmental expenditures remained within budget by performing cost/benefit analyses, identifying alternatives and preparing monthly financial reports for the City Manager’s and City Council’s review. Ensured department operated within all applicable city, state, and federal laws. Responsible information security services (Information Systems Security Officer).
