Responsibilities:

• Performed a network migration from Cisco to a next gen network
• Provided remote juniper SRX & EX, Cisco ASA & Catalyst, Riverbed SteelHead support to a global manufacturing company
• Consulted to a major oil and gas (ExxonMobil) company; providing Juniper security support to their network worldwide as well as assisting in their new campus build out utilizing the current Juniper platforms: SRX 5800, 3600, 550, 100H, Junos Space.
• Worked with a Tier 2 CLEC (Hargray Communications) to re-engineer their IP core using Juniper Networks MX platform (240, 480, 960), EX platform (4200), Steel Belted Radius, STRM, SRX platform (220, 3400, 5600) F5 Viprions 2400, MAG2600, and Junos Space. Technologies implemented: Clustering, LTM, Virtual IP, PIM-SM, OSPF, ISIS, MBGP, VPLS and MPLS.
• Worked with a Tier 2 CLEC (Hargray Communications) on integrating Microsoft Media Room video head end into an existing Juniper IP core infrastructure, and ensuring network wide QOS (DSCP, MPLS EXP, 802.1P) and high availability. Ensuring L2 connectivity (VLAN, sVLAN), routing (BGP, OSFP), and PKI infrastructure is in place and scalable in order to service over 60,000 users/customers.
• Worked with a Global Datacenter / Managed Services Provider (Wipro / Infocrossing) to implement Juniper SRX’s (240, 3400, 5600) and J Series (4350) routers. Technologies implemented: Clustering, Zones, Virtual-Routing Instances, Firewall Policies, and IPSEC VPN’s.
• Performed as a (contract) Juniper Resident Engineer for the build out of a brand new facility for Phoenix Children’s Hospital which includes a complete datacenter and a twelve story tower. Solely deploying over 500 devices - EX platforms, SRX platform, SA platform, ISG platform, IDP 8200, NSM, STRM, JUNOS Space / Service Now, and the UAC solution. Configure and maintain F5 Big-IP 3600 HA (LTM, TMOS).
• Performed duties as a (contract) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Denauri and their application development as it pertains to Juniper JUNOS Space and Pulse.
• Performed configurations, troubleshooting and network optimization remotely for Tidewell Hospice Hospital Systems in Florida as a Juniper Consultant / System Engineer thru Qwest Professional Services. • Directly supported a NOC expansion for eBay.com and Stubhub.com. Installed and configured Juniper SRX 240, 650, and 3600’s, as well as EX 3200 Ethernet Switches. Upgraded JUNOS to version 10.1R1.8.
