Confidential,

Responsibilities:

  • Developed embedded software for ECU (Electronic Control Unit).
  • Acquired knowledge on developing software for RS-232, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet and other communication protocols.
  • Gained good knowledge on all phases of the product development cycle including architecture, design, development, debugging, documentation and validation.
  • Designed digital driving system for a semi-autonomous vehicle to improve the driver-vehicle interface
  • This system uses an ARM 7TDMI-S based data acquisition system that uses ADC to bring all control data from analog to digital format and visualize through LCD
  • Embedded networking by CAN is the communication module used in this project.
  • This system takes feedback of vehicle conditions like engine temperature, vehicle speed etc and it has additional unit equipped with GSM , which communicates to the owner during emergencies.

Black Box (BB Module) for automobiles

  • This module records the status of vehicles before, during and after a crash used for motor vehicle crash investigations.
  • Data from various sensors (Proximity, ultra-sonic, Temperature sensors etc.) are analyzed and the status of crucial components are recorded (speed, Belt status, Break status, Lane detection, air bags etc.)
  • Efficient recording techniques are implemented to handle the memory limitations on the system.

Accident Avoidance System Using CAN

  • This project is aimed in advancements in cars for making it more interactive for avoiding accidents on roads.
  • In order to prevent accidents, different sensors are used to observe fatigue levels of driver.
  • In this system, multi-sensor, Control Area Network based system is interfaced with ECU using ARM-7 micro controller.
  • GPS, GSM, CAN technologies are used to make the communication of the system faster and reliable.

Java application based on the SWING Framework

  • This application allows the user to choose a book and analyze the length of the chapters, word count and density, unique word count and density, appearance of new words per chapter, most common words by removing stop words
  • The application is built using two panels. One is to select a book and run all the statics. In addition, the other is to show graphical results.
