Lead Software Engineer

• Security software company is a security software company for corporations, hospitals and colleges for employees and visitors
• Replaced one of the founding partners and took over all projects and products without any transition, training or documentation. Finished all remaining pending critical projects mid-cycle of their development with no source code comments and met a significant project deadline.
• Designed, developed and implemented mobile smart phone application for visitor management using .net compact framework for a device with built in drivers license scanner and WiFi card to handle and pre-register visitors and areas of building access for a quick mobile version.
• Instituted Microsoft SharePoint 2007 to control all development processes. SharePoint controlled the development process as well as customer support, documentation, installation, and training, in turn reducing project cost 2 fold. This was done by creating SharePoint Workflows in Visual Studio. The development workflow was based off a small business version of the Agile Development method as well as extreme programming.
• Created new development environment to handle 5 stages of implementation DEV,ALPHA,TEST,RC,PROD . Documentation, source code and installation source code was implemented into the SharePoint workflows. Source control was handled with Harvest by CA, and later Team Foundation Server 2010 BETA with SharePoint Integration.
• Created new ASP.NET visitor management system globally for Pfizer. Also created and designed AI match system customization which would automatically warn security of suspect visitors based on many criteria which were shown to end user along with percent match of algorithm. Database development was done in SQL Server 2005. System is capable of handling 10,000 concurrent users.
• Transitioned all projects to latest C .NET, ASP.NET, C .NET 3.5, Oracle 10g. Projects were initially written in VB6 and highly dependent on expensive third party components.
• Created security checkpoint software and High Roller Players Club database for the Mohegan Sun Casino. The systems had to work with their legacy AS400 system which was implemented with J2EE and C Web Services. Data files and images where highly confidential and were kept secure. Systems were written in C, Spring.net, nHybernate, C, and SQL 2008. The visitor management module for Foxwoods Hotel and Casino was also implemented from this source.
• Created employee and visitor management system for General Electric. Customization to handle contractors and support multiple languages was done with .NET globalization. Database packages, stored procedures were written in PL-SQL on Oracle 9i and 10g. System was written in C 3.5 and written using 5 layers of development. Presentation layer was designed skin-able so customer could choose either ASP.NET 2.0, 3.5 WPF, Silverlight 1,2 or 3 beta, or plain HTML. Second layer supported dynamic parameters coming for any of the chosen presentation layers and relayed to the third layer. Third layer consisted of all our common objects and transactions. Our 4th layer supported any mainstream RDMS. A lot of the coding and design was based on books from Rockford Lhotka's CLSA.
• All database scripts for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 and Sybase were re-written to have a standard universal schema's. The SQL in Stored procedures were ANSI compliant so all products could work with any database. This cut down on development time and helped out installation and support and in turn saved 50 of project costs alone.

• Created touch interface in WPF 3.5 and C for touch version interface. Also took advantage of new Windows 7 touch API and lesser Windows XP tablet framework.
• Created new product called NetworkWatch which was a computer network security system written in a client/server that monitors employee and visitor computer usage in depth. Data is sent real-time to server and reporting is viewed in a web manager. System hook dll was written in C .

• Developed new DTVI Data television interface platforms which send data created by NBATV Channel operators to Cyron graphics system where final output is scores and statistics during NBA games on cable tv and All-Star game. • Created C .NET Web Services for worldwide real-time scoring distribution to sports news companies like ESPN. Objects were filled from our Sybase and Oracle backend and then serialized to XML files and sent FTP or Web Services via raw SOAP or binary depending on customer legacy preferences.
• Previously other NBA departments did not have real-time access. If real-time was needed they had to ad-hoc our production system. I created C .NET object which encapsulated all the low level api which was unusable to most users and now other departments could easily read and fill their proprietary projects and needs with scores, plays, rosters etc with real-time data via xml, Web Services or serialized objects without any due hardship on our real-time system or low level packet streams manipulation.
• Supported and developed internal ArenaNet Web application site for the NBA which Cable TV network and operators, Arena Supervisors, and Teams used for all day to day Arena level management. Web application was written in C and OOD.
• Lead technical resource and contact for all advanced issues including unknown problems causing nba.com performance issues ESPN's data rendering faster then NBA.com, virus attack and tracking, web services security, database security, websites security and prevention of XSS and SQL injection vulnerabilities to NBA.com and other external intranets and networks.
