  • In order to normalize client software on Confidential ’s Set Top Boxes and to drive towards richer user experiences than currently achievable, created, championed and led the development team to create Confidential ’s cloud based App Streaming platform. As an extension to Confidential ’s winning X1 TV platform, this technology allows Confidential to run Android, HTML5 and GPU-enabled apps in the cloud, streamed as video to Set Top Boxes, reducing the client support requirements to simple and inexpensive, low-level, video decode functionality.
  • Manage an annual R&D budget of $2.5 million, which is allocated to software, staff augmentation, and hardware procurement.
