Overhauled a 32 site automotive dealer network by managing the cutover to new MPLS. Managed the installation of a NetApp SAN, and virtualizing the entire server infrastructure using VMware vSphere. Worked closely with the client to create a migration plan to P2V existing servers and create new Windows 2008 R2 servers to replace out of date servers. Setup a disaster recovery site with a secondary NetApp using SnapMirror to replicate data from the primary NetApp.
Led a team to update the WAN infrastructure of a 9 site non-profit, install an organization wide Inter-tel IP telephony system. Worked closely with the client to create ACD groups, customer scripts, and complex call flows to update their call center and integrate it into the new organization wide IP telephony system. Completed VMWare virtualization consolidation using HP servers and a NetApp SAN. Consolidated 35 servers into 3 hosts.
Designed and programmed a PHP/Perl/MYSQL/AJAX work order/ticket system to interface with our internal SugarCRM Customer Relationship Management application. Used SOAP API to open, edit, and close cases. Developed a customer portal to allow customers to open cases, view status, and update/close cases.
