Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day to day operations of our corporate and client infrastructure in AWS. Experience with Ansible, Red Hat Tower, Terraform, Packer, Git and Docker. Build Docker containers to run Terraform and Ansible. Primarily use Amazon Linux AMIs to spin up environments. Work with Git as source control for Terraform and Ansible code. Experience with Datadog in providing additional telemetry for deeper insight into infrastructure, geckoboard, ManageIQ and Cloudforms from Red Hat.
- Collaborated with pre - sales in costing for client infrastructure and later used Terraform to create customer VPC, networking, security groups, S3 buckets, EC2 instances and other products available from Amazon. Familiar with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Create dashboards as needed on varying products. Part of day to day operations, which include working with the development team to provision required infrastructure for their testing and development needs by using Terraform which makes this repeatable and predictable along with Packer and Ansible as well.
- Create Bash scripts for automation purposes, typically within Ansible or Terraform when a module doesn’t exist or if the commands do not complete a task or if there are any other additional errors. Currently run Bash scripts to copy files from the S3 buckets to the EC2 instances as well. Write VBA macros for the CFO, finance, and accounting departments, enabling them to streamline and automate their processes which reduces their workload from hours and sometimes days to less than minutes.
- In addition to my current duties I work with partners and third-party vendors to vet new products and tools that could potentially be part of the product offerings in the future. Began the process of cross-training into GCP.

Senior engineer who took support calls from customers on a variety of products from storage arrays, VMware, and backup products.
