Skills and Accomplishments
- Currently a Lead Technician on a contract between Hewlett Packard and Bank of America in which we are removing all computers, servers, copiers, fax machines and other peripherals. Then replacing them with new updated equipment, this all takes place in one evening after the bank closes. As a lead Tech I oversee two to four technicians depending on the amount of equipment to be refreshed each evening. I am personally responsible for replacing the Server and UPS all copiers and fax machines. I am responsible for resolving any issues which arise from the network, server, desktops, copiers or Banking Center Personnel. Then I coordinate the solution with HP, their Technical support group, my team and bank personnel.
- Created a Personal Computer Repair Business and successfully built the business based on outstanding service to customers investigated hardware and software problems and performed network support and installation.
- Installed and integrated and supported a Material Management and Acquisition System CAS with MRPII and three other Material Management Systems on diverse platforms, while managing a staff of 10 programmers, analysts and Database Administrators.
- Led as a Senior Analyst a team of 10 professionals through 200 modifications to the CAS system which was an IDMS based Manufacturing system, streamlining functions while ensuring compliance with government regulations.
- Planned and implemented the consolidation of four Manufacturing Systems into one, saving 7,000,000 annually for the company.
- Led as Senior Analyst, a team of 20 in converting four systems, including Information Modeling and Interpreting Conversion Tools to CAS/AD 2.2 format on a mainframe with MVS system was then ported to HP9000 running UNIX in a client/server environment.
- Tracked and managed numerous projects using Microsoft Project, Microman and other project management tools.
- Developed independent data warehouses to store transaction history for Bills of Material, Inventory and Purchasing.
- Designed, programmed and implemented an Engineering Database using DB2 that integrated multiple applications developed by the Product Structure Development Team.
