PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Principal Solutions Management Architect
Responsibilities:
- I am responsible for solution architecture and leverage my experience and knowledge to apply best practices and standards and ensure the design is secure. I delegate roles and responsibilities and interface with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate status, identify and remove potential barriers, and discuss next steps. I adhere to change management controls and make certain all documentation is up to standard.
- I strive to understand the expectations of executive leadership, management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and course-correct as needed. I utilize clear and consistent communication and remain actively engaged always. I work to cultivate and develop sustainable relationships as a trusted advisor driving digital transformation.
- I continually evaluate the IT landscape for new threats and maintain current industry s in my areas of expertise. I help to evangelize the Confidential Data Center and Cloud strategy for healthcare by acting as a subject matter expert, publications, and speaking engagements.
- Challenged to conduct independent Active Directory Audit and Review to confirm findings and recommendations reported from three prior audits, establish up-to-date information on which recommendations remained outstanding, and provide gap analysis. Findings and recommendations later reported to the executive management team detailed significant gaps that exposed the customer to elevated risk for pass the hash and other significant exploits not previously reported in any of the prior audits.
- Challenged to evaluate and recommend Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution to randomize local administrator account passwords, service account passwords, and to elevate Domain Admin privileges on-demand with session management and ticketing system integration. During the evaluation, the project team discovered an existing One Identity TPAM appliance from a prior failed deployment. The evaluation process was expanded to include TPAM and this was the tool decided on by the project team after review with stakeholders for deployment.
- Through the identification of an existing tool and the ability to reconfigure and deploy that tool to meet project objectives and requirements, we established ourselves further as trusted advisors contributing to the overall ROI for their investment.
- Conducted Office 365 Discovery and Planning Workshop for major hospital in California.
- Lead architect for high-visibility Office 365 Discovery and Planning Workshop for enterprise customer. Challenged to structure 3-day onsite workshop to review current state, assess readiness for cloud enablement, identify risks and barriers, capture business and technical requirements, and review high-level solution architecture. Organized workshop schedule to meet with technology leaders and all other stakeholders to encourage discussion and facilitate discovery. Coordinated with Microsoft account executives and FastTrack engineers to ensure alignment on strategy and approach, design accuracy, and to prevent duplication of efforts between teams. Assessed redundant technologies for DLP, email archiving, email encryption, content filtering, and threat management for potential collapse into Office 365.
- After the workshop, a detailed Vision and Scope document was produced listing all business and technical requirements, as well as providing a high-level Solution Architecture and work estimation for overall cloud enablement. As a result, Confidential was named by the customer as the official partner for delivery of their Office 365 workload.

I am experienced with both native and third-party migration tools and the pros and cons for each.
