  • I worked for Confidential with Scicom Infrastructure Services for the client of the Genuine Parts Company NAPA division. I was involved in a project that migrated approximately 20,000 Windows 7 Professional workstations to Windows 10 Professional. My responsibilities were to provide 3rd level technical support throughout the entire migration process, including pre-migration preparation, deployment roll-out support & post-migration user/application/workstation support. I made recommendations/suggestions to streamline the process & minimize potential issues. This project allowed me to gain valuable, practical insight into Windows 10 & the Altiris Management System, which was used for the deployment process.
  • I worked for Apex Systems, with Unisys, for the client of Capital One on a Windows XP to Windows 7 Professional Conversion project. This project involves migrating users workstations from Windows XP to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit using a Network Boot PXE Client, an SCCM OSD Image deployment & an In-House Post-Imaging Application loading process the client calls “SALT” (SCCM Application Layering Tool). This project converted over 1000 workstations.

  • Served as the Technical Team Lead for a Team comprised of 10 Desktop Technicians & Engineers in 2 locations.
  • Tier I, II & III Workstation/Desktop Support/Administration/Engineer (primarily Windows workstations but some Apple Mac’s & Linux workstations as well) - Tier I & II Server Support/Administration (primarily Windows Servers but some Novell & Linux Servers as well) - Tier I Network Infrastructure Support/Maintenance.
