  • Prudhoe Bay, Alaska- Responsible for maintaining and implementing new control strategies for British Petroleum on the North Slope of Alaska. Control platforms at Endicott Island and Badami oil fields were comprised of; Emerson Delta VoperateforProvox, Provox and HoneywellExperion R210 (DCS). Confidential HC900, Allen Bradley andRockwell Automation family of PLC’s provided (SCADA) control which was integrated into the DCS systems.
  • 2006 Oak Ridge, TN. - Programmed Air Handling Controls on a SLC5/05 and PanelView 600. Objective was to provide handshaking between two OEM controllers communicating over Ethernet and Modbus to coordinate the cycling of Air Compressors and their associated Air Dryer.
  • State of Pennsylvania - Replaced obsolete controllers for a steam plant with an HC900 controller and Confidential operator interface. The new configuration consisted of a Plant Master Pressure controller providing a firing rate demand signal to each of the three Natural Gas/#2 Fuel Oil Boiler Master Controllers. The control strategy maintained combined steam header pressure and minimized emissions. Provided similar controls for another steam plant with coal fired boilers. Each system allowed plant personnel to monitor process conditions and alarms as they became active as well as Data Acquisition to obtain desired data for storage, display and trending. The systems also provided report generating capabilities.

  • Senior Controls Specialist for utilities department at the Anheuser-Busch St. Louis brewery. Requirements range from day to day supervision of the operating system to designing and implementing small to medium scale projects.

  • Project Lead for an Arc Furnace application. Called to site and came up to speed with process in one week. Designed and implemented stinger control on a Delta V (DCS) system.
  • Assisted in standardizing the control logic and operator interface. Successfully implemented PID control for five DC power supplies capable of producing 50,000 amps output while measuring and maintaining a voltage of 3 to 6 volts.
