Responsibilities:

  • Taking server backups such as mksysb, savevg and other file or directory level backup using backup utility.
  • Installing Operating system, Server build, migrating OS etc. Installing new software / file sets, packages and other third party applications when required by business.
  • Creating new logical volumes, creating file systems, working with file system changes such as changing mount point, changing file system size. Good hands on trouble shooting skills of Logical volume manage.
