  • Linux: Supported our environment by setting up new environments fresh install and AMI management, tune systems for their designated functions, and troubleshooting performance issues. Most systems were hosted at various hosting service providers such as RackSpace, Amazon Cloud AWS , and Hosting.com, whereas other systems were locally hosted on ESX servers, which I also managed.
  • Windows: Managed Active Directory accounts. This included the creation modification and deletion of user accounts, file shares, and print services. Assisted in the creation and maintenance of Group Policy Objects and integration of 3rd party tools for use in AD user authentication.
  • Internet Properties: Managed the company's extensive library of domain names and SSL certificates.
  • Monitoring: I designed, configured, and supported the monitoring system for business critical system infrastructure and hosted internal and client facing systems.
  • Network infrastructure: I completely re-engineered, from the ground-up, an overhaul of the entire global corporate network using Juniper networks equipment across all of our offices around the globe.   • I monitored and ensured that the company's 1200-user, global AIX and Windows-based network remained available. I monitored all active web and Unix servers for suspicious activity and generated error reports.
