Network Consulting Engineer
Responsible for providing Tier 3 support to customers within the CNS Classified Network Services umbrella. Have managed and resolved cases ranging from ASA security failures to Call Manager virtualization and Nexus platform software upgrades and more. Provide customers with Proactive Software Recommendation reports as well as other network optimization deliverables which fall under the Cisco portfolio. Analyze and mitigate software bug issues on Cisco IOS within various hardware platforms.
Responsible for the installation and maintenance of transport network equipment deployed in underserved areas. Maintain and integrate all elements of customized transport networks to include Nera/NEC microwave radios, Cisco and Netgear switches, JDSU NIDs, fiber optics, and AC/DC power systems. Work with minimal supervision in remote locations with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Troubleshoot network outages and resolve issues within SLAs to ensure high network reliability.

Network Switching Systems Technician
Worked as the senior team member in the installation maintenance, and operation of the Army's network switches.
Managed logistics for network control centers and supported network control centers during daily operations and field exercises. Held Secret clearance from 1995-1999 and from 2006-2008.Operated diagnostic equipment and responded to customer trouble tickets. Managed and trained ten soldiers on all aspects of the Army's network switches. Coordinated and planned troubleshooting efforts of the network control center's Inside and Outside plant teams.
