- Sourcing the batteries and module, BMS supplier, built the prototype system and perform testing with PCS (hybrid inverter) system from supplier.

- Under this system, Li-ion battery (3.2VDC 200-700Ah) impedance will be measured to form better pairing. In EV bus, Li-ion batteries (LiFePO4) are connected in parallel and 204 pairs are in series to form energy power source for the bus. The charging/discharging curve was plot at various temperature setting.
- These curves were referenced for improving in-house EV bus BMS algorithm design.
- Revisit the design of a battery energy storage system of 1 MWh system. Re-evaluate the feasibility of system in factory daily operation.
- Specify the technical requirements for all-in-one DC 60kW to 120kW charging station for both 380VAC three phase of 50 Hz and 480VAC three phase of 60 Hz power grid. Locate suppliers to build the system and perform onsite testing with FDG electric bus. Explore the process to be certified by UL.

- Built a portable Electric Vehicle (EV) charging system for all Electric Bus with GBT connector.
- Based on the characteristics of 3.5 kW modules from Confidential Increase, 12 modules were connected in parallel to form a 42kW EV portable charger.
- Duty includes, working out communication details between vehicle BMS and charger via CAN 2.0B communication protocol, conducting testing on individual module and helping build the prototype system, design and perform final system testing with resistive load and vehicle battery system.
- Each module takes a single phase 220 VAC, 50 Hz input and output 500-750 VDC. Every 4 modules were connected together to one of the three phase of industrial 380 VAC, 50 Hz input without phase sequence requirement.
- When the system was initially connected, it performs electrical isolation test and sending signal to close the connection relay.
- As the relay closed the DC current path, it starts the charging process.
- The charging DC voltage increased to 685 VDC and current of 52 A.
- The current comes down at later charging stage of 42 A.
- The actual charging voltage and current was provided according to instruction from vehicle BMS system via CAN 2.0B protocol.
- This system is currently undergoing more real life charging test with the vehicle, mass production follows after testing.
