Responsibilities:

Manage Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS,TCP/IP,Hyper-V, etc.
Manage user/computer domain accounts. Add/remove AD login and email accounts
Manage AD domain controllers in good AD/sysvol replication, AD system state backup, FSMO roles, and any AD operation.
Manage Hyper-V replica site in a branch office, test Hyper-v replica regularly to make sure emergency failover.
Converted multiple servers and workstations to Hyper-V environment, added Hyper-V replica and clustering for servers. Moved Active Directory controller, FSMO roles to a new virtual domain controller.
Deployed and upgraded Sonicwall Firewalls with 2 T1 failover and load balancing, access control, tight security with port/protocol based access matrix allowing only necessary SMTP, TCP/UDP, HTTP/SSL inbound traffics only.
Upgraded the company subnet switches from Cisco Catalyst fast Ethernet to Dell Powerconnect gigabit Ethernet, added VLAN, link aggregation to balance server traffic and uplinks.
Developed and maintain a billing website for clients using .NET/C#,SQL 2008,IIS 6.0, Crystal Report. The previous billing website provided from the software vendor was outdated. The new billing website provides more user friendly look, more search options, access to archived PDF versions of invoices and voucher copies. Developed and maintain mass emailing web tool using .NET/C#, SQL 2008, IIS 6.0. The company wanted a mass emailing software, but couldn’t find a commercial one which interacts with our database for client profiles. This web emailing tool provides user interfaces to compose emails (FCKEditor open source module used), manage recipients which are connected to our client database, opt list, subscribe/unsubscribe feature, track email logging, auto-scanning email address to find not correctly formatted email address and give suggestions to clean up.
