Experience Summary
- I have eight 8 years systems admin support. I have worked with small businesses prior to my current position. I handled all system imaging of workstations and servers along with full scale solutions, from ISP accounts to Exchange setup and maintenance to lifecycle replacement analysis and implementation.
- I am currently positioned as supervisor for the helpdesk and a server administrator. Over the past two years I have focused on system deployment, workstations and server, physical and virtual Hyper V .
- I have developed System Center Configuration manager 2007 SP2 R3 and have utilize it to deploy Windows 7. I have created baseline WIM files and converted physical machines for redeployment as VHD's within MS Hyper V environment and deployment through WinPE. I was the task lead in Vista migration to Windows 7 and worked with software compatibility issues. I work with post deployment configuration through group policy. In addition to the WinPE boot disk and SCCM I have use the WAIK to prepare images for deployment and updates.
- I lead a team to migrate 80 RHEL 5.5 workstations to RHEL 6.3 in a mixed Linux and Windows environment. In addition to having physical Windows 7 in the environment I have built and deployed Windows 7 virtual to each of the RHEL 6.3 workstations though VMware 7 workstation. I was able to apply the knowledge of Windows 7 build to port the VHD file over to VMware's .vmdk file extension.
