Responsibilities:
- Worked as a software developer on a project for the Social Security Administration. The project involved developing SAS Enterprise Guide projects to input raw d Confidential, transform it, and use it to output tables to be published by SSA’s Office of Research, Evaluation, and Statistics (ORES).
- For this project, used base SAS, SAS macros, and SAS/IML.
- Gradually assumed first the role of team lead, then the role of project manager. As team lead, led a team of 3-5 junior staff in developing software to meet ORES’s needs and reviewed their work. As project manager, served as the primary client contact for the project, led client meetings, coordinated collection and analysis of client requirements, and obtained client acceptance of deliverables.
