The ability to access, modify, and report on Active Directory infrastructure using scripting technologies is highly desired. Understanding of Active Directory Security and Delegation of Administration strategies required.
- Experience planning and implementing third party management/workflow tools to delegate and manage AD highly desired.
- An understanding of ADSI and PowerShell scripting is highly desired.
- Exchange and Messaging Services
- Experience planning, implementing, managing, and supporting medium and large-scale Exchange 2003/2007/2010 deployments. Thorough understanding of Exchange sites and routing designs. Experience designing and managing Exchange data management solutions including quota and archiving solutions highly desired. Understanding of Exchange security technologies including anti-spam, anti-virus, client and server encryption technologies highly desired.
- Experiencing supporting Exchange journaling solutions required.
- Experience with E-mail compliance systems. Computer Associates Message Manager is a plus.
- Experience supporting Exchange in disaster recovery scenarios using high availability technologies in a clustered, synchronously replicated environment.
- Experience implementing, supporting and upgrading Blackberry Enterprise Server and Good Technology solutions for mobile devices.
- Business Continuity and Monitoring Solutions
- Experience planning, implementing and supporting Windows disaster recovery solutions using any combination of available technologies such as EMC SRDF and DoubleTake data replication with VMware SRM.
- Understanding of backup technologies and strategies (tape, backup-disk, EMC BCVs, data-deduplication, etc) highly desired. Experience supporting leading enterprise backup solutions (Veritas NetBackup) required.
- Experience designing, implementing and managing system performance, capacity and availability monitoring with leading vendor tools. IBM Tivoli System Monitoring experience preferred.
- Windows Host Security
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting core Windows OS security technologies including anti-virus, firewall, vulnerability management/mitigation required.
- Experience designing and implementing high-security host policies using Group Policies or 3rd party tools required.
- Experience with designing, implementing and supporting patch management solutions required. Experience with WSUS, SCCM and Qualys desired.

- The Windows System Engineer’s role is to design, install, administer, and optimize Microsoft Windows servers and related components to achieve and maintain high performance of business applications.
- This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, configuring new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing management of the server environment.
- This position shares responsibility for the security, integrity, and safety of the data center/server farm.
