Capstone Project Remote Surveillance Guest Notification System Phone App for Android OS
This project used a team of four students to create a phone application that notifies users of guests who ring their doorbell. The system allowed user video/audio interaction as well as door lock/unlock. My main responsibility involved interfacing the physical components between the hardware Raspberry Pi and the Android OS. Tasks include:
Video/Audio capture, compression, and streaming
Network Management: UDP audio/video / TCP reliable user interaction
Project used software development life cycle including: Concept Proposal, Requirements Specification, Architecture Specification, Design Specification, Implementation, Testing, and Deployment.

Cadet Computer Engineering
This project combined 6 disciplines and 11 students to create a therapeutic joystick for patients with motor function limitations. It had to include biofeedback, PC-compatibility, and video game and data analysis software.
I was in charge of creating the interface between the joystick and the PC Windows . This was accomplished using an Atmel microcontroller that received and transmitted data between the software and device.
Utilized ADC for conversion of analog inputs PWM for biofeedback mechanism
Implemented USB HID implementation to register as a generic Microsoft Joystick
Used Marshalling in C to make Windows API calls for receiving non-standard device data packets
Capstone Project II IEEE Robotics Competition
The goal was to create a line-following robot that could navigate a grid and locate color-coded cans, and then transport them to respectively color-coded sections.
I was a junior chosen to assist a senior-level design team in implementing the detection system. I devised an algorithm that normalized data received from multiple IR sensors though ADC interrupts.
