Successfully achieved Sun’s project requirements by migrating clients into this new SAN solution from direct attach storage greatly reducing over all data storage costs.   • Participated in product devolvement 6-month TDY project for Sun’s IT hosting initiative. Engineered and implemented a virtual environment for secured applications worldwide. This virtual environment allowed servers to run multiple applications without having to depend on specific versions of patches or binaries. Each virtual environment created had its own stripped down secured operating system, which allowed for a wide range of application deployments worldwide. This solution allowed Sun to achieve their cost reduction objectives by doing more with less.
  • Served as a project engineer for Sun’s N1 utility network computing corporate initiative for the Broomfield campus.
