  • Troubleshot and configured Cisco Routers, switches, and access points also configured BVI on the Interfaces, set up DHCP Pool Configuration for A, B, and C customers on the Oil Rigs or Land Rigs using rate limiting for B or C customer to cut down on over utilization of the network. Set up MAC Filtering on the Routers for customers, conducted Pings and Traceroutes for No internet connectivity, configured Interfaces on switches creating VLAN Databases and Access Points for correct SSID, and changed WEP keys configuring translation patterns and setting up.
  • Worked with Nimbus Monitoring Systems to monitor oil rigs around the world and the outbound to avoid congestion when using graphs. Green lights are a go and red means down which we received an alarm and began troubleshooting and sent the Help Desk an email advising that the issue was being resolved.
  • Called the provider and had them perform some Loop test if circuits were down.
