Design Mobile Communications systems for an Army unit to support deployed communications C2 Nodes, elements and small teams infrastructure.
While working as a Senior Engineer I took over a current M4 GAN Global Area Network Dial-up architecture and modified the design to support larger sites with more efficient use of Bandwidth.
I upgraded the NT4.0 Architecture to a Microsoft 2000 and later 2003 Active Directory Domain with multiple Forests and Domains.
Migrated the network from utilizing 64K M4/GAN systems to Broadband Ku band Satellite systems utilizing KG-175 Taclanes and KG-250 Viasat HAIPE devices.
Created Cisco Tunnels to allow for EIGRP data to flow through non-multicast compliant devices and established Qos Standards for traffic flow.
