Worked closely with OS System Administrators on monitoring disk and CPU usage to determine server purchasing and hardware upgrades.
- Converted eleven UNIX servers supporting 12 schemas from DB2 9.1.5 to 9.7.5 to fix several production problems: improved performance, closed security breaches, and provided faster algorithms. Project completed before target due date. Upgraded test servers from 9.7.5 to 10.1.
- Spearheaded project to move entire database servers from one data center to another. This involved complete planning, designing, testing, and implementing plans to recreate the database servers in the new data center before target date.
