SUMMARY

Perform daily monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server and storage resources.
Manage Windows servers including: file and folder management and access, network printing services, server performance monitoring, user access and administration, application and services management. (Active Directory),
Provide direct and indirect end user support (10,000+ users) as it relates to file & storage issues (ServiceNow ticketing system). Ability to perform root cause analysis.
Provide the Management Team with monthly KPI reports and recommendations for higher system yields and performance.
Ability to create Monitors and Alerts (Nagios & SolarWinds) for all aspects of Servers and Storage systems.
Responsible for monthly Microsoft patching (Dev. & Production environments).
Also upgrade Administrative tools and utilities. Configure and manage system services as needed.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recover tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary,.
