  • I am a volunteer in the volunteer department at the Shawnee Mission Hospital - a former employer. I have been a volunteer since 2005. I support all MS Access applications I developed for the volunteer department free of charge used to manage the 600 volunteers at the hospital. Although I currently do not have a full time job as an Access programmer/developer I do consider myself an active employee.
  • I am and have been the principal IT/database support person in the Volunteer department at the Shawnee Mission Medical center in Shawnee Mission Kansas a suburb in the Kansas City Kansas and Kansas City Missouri area . I actively support all of the Access database applications I developed and created for the Volunteer department. My applications manage completely all scheduling and hours for some 600 volunteers for the hospital scheduling approximately 50 80 volunteers per day .
  • I have been an active volunteer for the department since 2005. I donate all of my time for free to the department. I worked approximately 600 800 hours during year 2012 working on each of the database applications converting them from Access version 2003 to Access version 2007.
  • I login daily through a VPN account from my home. I import all hours from corporate head quarters databases on servers in the IT department at SMMC Shawnee Mission Hospital using an import utility I developed.
  • We recently calculated all hours for all volunteers for year 2012 using an Access application I created. This report is used for the annual Volunteer Awards Ceremony. It used to take weeks for the department to manually calculate and summarize all hours. My application now does the same thing in less than 2-3 minutes.

  • System analyst and technical and project implementation temporary support for the Pathways Materials Management application from version 11.0 to 15.0.
  • Tested and converted 120 custom Access applications and reports used with the Pathways Materials Management PMM application in the Materials Management Department. SQL Server 2008 R2 is the database platform for PMM. All applications linked to the server via MDAC Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects via VBA and SQL scripting no linked tables .
