Responsible for creating collections and advertisements to distribute policies to 100,000+ workstations using SCCM 2007.
Knowledgeable in Software distribution and SQL/WQL.
Used WQL to query the production SCCM database to populate collections and also used Transact SQL for more advanced queries in a reporting database replicated from the production db.
Queries and other tools were used to investigate client health issues and perform log analysis.
Used reports database to monitor the distribution and detect problems in the distribution.
For individual machines, used Log Parser, DOS Bat files as well as the SCCMClientCenter tool
to check machine logs such as CCM and program files.
Looked for WMI errors in logs as well as client agent problems.
Used the SCCMClientCenter tool to display logs using trace32 but also to rerun advertisements, force the machine to download new policies and rerun hardware inventory. On occasion, will repair the client, and do a WMI rebuild.
Responsible for all projects during their entire lifespan. Working from a Work Order Template, take the executable and package it and if necessary, chain several programs together into a single package.
Responsible for checking the query criteria for the collection of workstations involved and determine which to include or exclude based on OS, build versions and descriptions, existing programs already installed and finally create the advertisement.
Responsible for testing the package, the advertisement maintenance window is ignored and the machine’s logs are checked to monitor the success of the advertisement.

Helped manage the database for 9,000+ ATMS as well as monitor the distribution of files and software to the ATMs.
Recreated database schema and wrote new monitoring tools, after inheriting the database from the vendor with no documentation.
Build a development server to test scripts. Placed SQL statements in a UNIX wrapper so that the database could be monitored remotely.
Updated ATMS weekly using a modified vendor script and stored procedures, which .??were used to add machines and start their deployment.
