Also in support of USDA, participated as the lead engineer in the development of the RD Contracting Tracking system, Management Control System MCS , and supported the maintenance and enhancements to PLOPs.
- Also in support of USDA ARS, managed the development and maintenance of the ARS E-Grants System CREEMS , and supported the initial gathering of business rules and system/software requirements for CREEMS. ASI was recognized numerous times for their superior support within ARS, and received the USDA SB Contactor of the year Award in 2004, and 2005, and the National Award in 2008. This support included the gathering of requirements and business rules from paper systems and home-grown DB's and excel spreadsheets from many ARS grant offices and developing a web-based system using JAVA, SQL and an Oracle DB. This system was later enhanced by using an open architecture/modular approach which was considered as a model to be used across other Federal agencies. Several of ASI employees and our USDA customers won the Secretary's Honors Award for this support in 2008.
- Participated in all levels of management, and software requirement and design meetings, and test planning meetings. Participated in cost and technical trade-off analyses to determine the pros and cons of proposed technical enhancements to ADAS and TSTAR and provided recommendations to the Government on which approach provided the best technical/cost solution to the given problem s .
