Perform query tuning and clustering to enhance table efficiency.
- Use a combination of skillsets including DB2, MVS system programming, Linux system commands and utilities, Confidential Data studio, DB2 Stored Procedures, PUTTY/Telnet, TSO, MVS UNIX System Services (USS), SMP/E, z/OS IIDR Change Data Capture (i.e., replication), ISPF, JCL, SDSF and other mainframe utilities to support customers
- IDAA day to day support entails monitoring the IDAA systems though Data Studio and Putty for warnings and errors and CDC latency. Work closely with IDAA and Netezza L2 as required for problem determination and resolution.
- Upgrading IDAA involves researching and applying DB2 and CDC PTFs. Resolving HOLD DATA items. And upgrading the following components: IDAA Server, Replication Engine, Access Server and Netezza NPS.

- Responsible for software upgrades and new server configurations on Netezza appliances. Set up new appliances for backup services. Have also worked on customer issues such as grants, adding users and groups, ITIM, Secondary controls over activation, patching and upgrading appliances.
