| Network and Security Manager Enterprise Architect Sr. Systems Administrator Achievements: - Designed, purchased, installed and made operational complete enterprise infrastructure for 5000 users when MarketSource split into two companies at two different locations. I was responsible for the Alpharetta office which had no IT infrastructure.
- Designed and implemented a datacenter for supporting 5000 users and supporting our 32 Client facing web sites.
- Migrated the Production web sites from a hosted datacenter in NJ to our in house datacenter with minimal downtime and zero data loss.
- Migrate users from the NJ Microsoft Exchange 5.5 environment to our new in house 2000 Clustered Exchange and Active Directory, with no user downtime.
- Designed, purchased, installed and made operational complete client facing production environment hosting 32 separate web sites for CRM/SFA
- After 4 years MarketSource had outgrown our existing facility, and found a new site 1 mile away. I was tasked with designing the new datacenter for the Corporate and Production environments and all network, security and interface to the Internet. Major achievement was setting up a method to move our entire datacenter from old to new site and be back up with all services functional within a six hour timeframe.
- Designed, purchased, installed and made operational complete development environment for in house development team. The development teams stayed in the NJ facility but were to use and have access to all the GA assets. I set up a new datacenter with a development and staging environment to mirror our GA production layout. Access was set up via a secure firewall to firewall VPN tunnel.
- Client requirements were for a Disaster Recovery site for the Production environment. I set up a mirror site in NJ and via Doubletake software, set up real time replication of all data entered into Production site.
- Design was mandated to be High Availability for web sites. This was accomplished via redundant WAN links, HA Watchguard Firewall configuration, Load balanced web servers and Clustered Database servers.
- Was systems Architect for new software platform, which involved 5 complete and separate environments for development to production. Our software platform had been designed in 1999 and had gone through several updates but was ready for a complete rewrite to take advantage of new technology. Major requirement was for a Data warehouse and business Intelligence reporting capability.
- Designed 5 environments, Development, Functional test, UAT, Load Test, and Production.
- Final design was Load balanced front end Web servers, talking to 3 separate clustered SQL Server 2005 DB platforms for OLTP, OLAP, and Data Warehouse. These were integrated with Sharepoint Server 2007 and Performance Point server for business Analytics.
- Clarion storage was set up for 12TB of storage needs for the production DB servers.
