I managed the University of Saint Mary network and the helpdesk. I configured, updated, and managed the 3com and Cisco network equipment and managed the migration from Novell Directory Services to Microsoft Active Directory. Assisted in automating the student account creation process for the university and drove the implementation of better backup planning for disaster recovery. I researched and planned for the deployment of student laptops. I assisted the network administrator with network security, account management, backup retrieval, basic exchange support, network development, and infrastructure development. Assisted the employee's with hardware and software resolutions and in house documentation of tasks the users had authority to do deleting cookies, setting up Outlook, other miscellaneous documentation. I also developed several batch scripts to simplify the desktop deployment and build process and slipstreamed service pack 2 for XP and service pack 1 for Office.
