This is a technical position requiring Microsoft messaging, collaboration, mobile device, Active Directory, and networking experience.

SUMMARY

Five (5) or more years of experience implementing technical solutions in domestic and international locations using ITIL disciplines.
Eight (8) or more years of experience with day to day administration, support, maintenance, and monitoring of the MS Exchange infrastructure.
Experience with messaging and directory services technologies, including: LDAP (Active Directory), DHCP, DNS, SMTP, Internet domain records, and group policy management.
Five years’ experience authoring PowerShell scripts. Additional scripting knowledge a plus.
Experience with implementation and management of unified messaging role in Exchange.
Understanding of how patching and configuring enterprise messaging and collaboration services impact the environment.
Knowledge of accepted PowerShell conventions.
Ability to resolve messaging related issues using Active Directory tools and PowerShell commandlets.
Experience managing and maintaining antivirus and anti - spam products.
Experience using Problem, Incident, Request and Change management ticketing tools (release management experience a plus).
Excellent communication and verbal skills.

Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

Day to day administration, support, maintenance and monitoring of the MS Exchange, on - premise infrastructures, and related staff.
Creation/maintenance of scripts in various languages which ensure availability and performance of the MS Exchange environment, monitor for environmental issues, and take the necessary actions as needed.
Creation/maintenance of scripts to perform repetitive or complex processes.
Perform service restoration, backup and restore procedures, front end/back end setups, message flow, content flow, and security.
Know the Siemens-specific requirements, processes, organization and operational structures, i.e. CAE.
Troubleshoot day-to-day Outlook issues (at a tier 3 level).
Administration of mailboxes and associated accounts.
Develop and maintain security standards relating to messaging systems and services.
Ensure consistency for operational processes, including incident, problem, change, release management, and disaster recovery/business continuity
Identify technology training needs, recommend and implement plans to address them.
Identify opportunities to leverage technology to increase employee productivity and/or reduce costs.
