Project lead for the successful design and implementation of the Genetics disaster recovery facility located at Sungard in New Jersey. The site consisted of multiple Cisco 6500 core and distribution switches, Cisco 4500 access switches, Checkpoint and Juniper firewalls for internet and DMZ security, Cisco 7200 routers for internet and MPLS access to corporate facility.
Redesigned Framingham Confidential campus network infrastructure consisting of 20 separate locations. Design replaced antiquated Bay Networks devices with Cisco core, distribution, and access switches. Replaced campus external multi-mode fiber plant with single mode fiber to create a fully meshed 10 Gigabit core consisting of multiple 6500 series switches utilizing VSS. Converted IP address structure from multiple large flat networks to smaller more modular IP subnets to provide enhanced application and user performance.
Project lead for the design, configuration, and implementation of Cisco’s Secure Access Control Servers (ACS). Servers were implemented successfully in the US, EMEA, and Asia Pacific to control access and authorization to corporate network devices via active directory integration.
