Responsibilities:
- Support & maintain Virtual Data Center including operations, incidents, service requests & execution of changes
- Support & maintain Microsoft Azure IAAS/PAAS environment including computing, networking, storage, load-balancer, backup, NSG, database, Azure monitor, network watcher.
- Support and maintain Cloud Management Platform tool (Scalr) and build automation scripts & frameworks to improve operational processes, procedures
- Assist Cloud Competency and Cloud Operations team with the build out of cloud capabilities of the VDC; assist with migration of workload to the VDC
- Support the Virtual Data Center (VDC) as per Confidential ITSM (service management) process (i.e change management, incident management, request management etc)
- Ability to configure ARM resources through Azure Web Portal and Command Line Interface through PowerShell
- Ability to deploy cloud instances through Cloud Management Platform tool and customize automation & orchestration engine whenever required.
- Ability to write shell scripts, PowerShell scripts.
- Work closely with Confidential Information Security group on compliance and audit requirement related to VDC.
- Troubleshoot performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools and be an escalation point for all production issues during shift or as required.
