I am a Systems Administrator with ten years of desktop support experience and seven years of server support experience in both commercial and government operations. For the past four years I have also been a Systems Administrator for multiple virtual environments. I seek to obtain a position within a growing company who will allow me to challenge my current talents as well as maintain my motivation to expand my understanding of systems and networks.

- Designed, implemented, and supported key test virtual networks. VMware Systems Administrator for multiple test networks using varying versions of Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange. Recreated client networks in vSphere to use as a testbed for upgrading their infrastructures. Installed, updated, and configured Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010 in multiple varying environments including DAG . Any downtime was spent properly maintaining and updating all domains as long as necessary, as well as creating other sandbox networks to experiment with new software and technology. A direct line of support for the NSA program office, and have been for years. A key player to their mobile/wireless efforts, with lots of experience configuring and updating various handheld devices.
- Maintained the business critical network and server infrastructure for the company domain, including Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, and DHCP. Installed and deployed a Sharepoint 2007 server and later assisted the Sharepoint team with rolling out a Sharepoint 2010 site. Provided remote support to domains in California, Alabama, and Colorado. Created a DRP plan and assisted in the routine maintenance it required. Installed a backup system using Symantec Backup Exec to support the plan and provide daily data protection.
- Managed the IT help desk and support staff. Delegated responsibilities to two other team members, and managed the department. Lead support specialist for a help desk system supporting approximately 200 users, both onsite and remote. Worked closely with support techs in other divisions and provided support to their users when necessary. Supported Windows XP, Vista, and 7. Supported all current version of MS Office 2003-2010 , GuardianEdge, LiveBackup, and any other 3rd party applications required. Provided client-end Citrix support and assisted in server side support, mostly for the use of Costpoint.
- Load Technician/Logistics Analyst
- Member of the S/MIME Blackberry team. Supported Blackberry mobile devices which were loaded with custom operating systems and software. Assisted remote pilot sites with technical issues and BES maintenance.
- Responsible for the receiving, tracking, and shipping of all Blackberry handhelds in a time sensitive environment. Devices were to be received, loaded with custom software, and sent out to customers within 48 hours of receiving.
- Assisted and eventually acquired the handling of all incoming orders. Routine duties included processing customer orders, maintaining sales/order records, and ordering relevant equipment.

- Ten 10 years of experience supporting Windows Desktop Operating Systems in onsite and remote environments. Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7.
- Seven 7 years of experience maintaining Windows Server domains. Windows Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2. Also greatly experienced with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange. Installed and maintained both Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 in multiple domain configurations with DAG/clustering supported.
- Four 4 years of experience as an Administrator for multiple virtual networks. Familiar with ESX, vCenter, and the vSphere client. Acquainted with NetApp SnapVault technology and the bonuses it provides to VMware.
- Highly organized and self-motivated. Able to keep paperwork and files organized while working on many projects at once. If left with little or no guidance or supervision, I will still guide myself to get the tasks at hand completed.
