OBJECTIVE:

Extraction of customer data from various sources and system environments, and transforming and storing this data in a central repository for the project team.

SUMMARY:

Perform extensive data analysis on “As - Is” data from data extracted: 5+ years
Identify data anomalies told lots of things - 5+ years
Aggregate, roll-up and/or summarize data
Conduct gap analysis on available data
Identify sets of primary/foreign keys and link data across various systems using these key-sets
Additional ad-hoc analysis as required 5+ years
Assist with the collection and management of new data, while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of existing data
Work with project team to document and maintain the metadata and business rules
Collaborate with the project team to develop and enforce methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring data quality and accuracy in the project’s DB
Review existing SAS code used for data extraction and transformation, and be able to translate such code into SQL, VB, or other programming languages
Assist with the design and development of systemic workflow processes
Provide expertise, and work with the project team on the establishment of business-customer hierarchies
Develop metrics and reporting requirements for on-going monitoring of the bank’s data
Create documentation as requested by project team (data extraction and transformation requirements, logical database design, physical database design, etc.)
Additional project related tasks as needed including but not limited to project management, project documentation, business requirements documentation.
Extensive data mining experience (data quality, root cause analysis, data anomalies, trends and patterns, etc.) 5+ years
Database query experience using Microsoft SQL Server - 7+ years, Oracle - 7+, Microsoft Access 7+, SAS 3+years, and Teradata - 2+ years 7+ years
Strong knowledge of relational Databases
Data Governance experience
Able to translate existing data extraction/transformation logic from SAS to other programming languages - 3+ years
Strong business acumen
Capable of reverse-engineering SQL coding, in order to document business rulescommon activity we do in every project
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
Able to present results in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner
Strong leadership skill
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision but able to work in a team environment when needed
