Software Support Engineer
Duties: Support large companies worldwide on proprietary software. Do Lync/Live meetings with clients to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Maintain helpdesk database and customer knowledge base for all related issues.
Enterprise Level Network Administrator
Duties: Maintaining a Mission Critical High Availability Database environment. SAN administration and maintenance, Security, Active Directory, FTP general Network maintenance. Desktop and remote support for users and clients. Installation and configuration of new equipment purchased. Prepare and maintain business continuity plan. Test plan at SunGard in New Jersey on a bi-yearly basis. Convert Windows 2003 2008 servers to VMware on both stand alone and SAN attached. Maintain Tape backups of all data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and keep a 3 year rotation. Catalog and inventory tapes and send offsite to Iron Mountain on a weekly basis. Initiate and maintain positive relations with office park management which resulted in expedited resolution of problems. Maintain and issue security cards for access to the facility. Maintain licensing for software installed on all servers, workstations and laptops. Asset management of all computer related equipment. Repair, or replace all broken servers, printers, faxes, PC's and laptops.

HP Eva 8000 SAN
This includes redundant EVA 8000 controllers, Dual Brocade switches, and 12 drive enclosures housing a total of 168 fiber attached drives. All controlled by an HP Systems Management Server. A total of 20 terabytes of data in a 24/7 environment.
This consists of a Magnitude 3D 4000 system. Contents of which are 2 DSC controllers, 2 Cisco switches, an ICON appliance and 6 enclosures with a total of 12 Terabytes of disk space. The enclosures are filled with 146gb 15k fiber channel drives which are connected by way of fiber and use 2gb HBA's throughout.
HP MLS-6030 LTO3 Tape Library 2/LTO 3 drives fiber attached to a Cisco switch.
Dell LTO2 Tape Library 4 LTO/2 Drives SCSI attached to a backup server
Veritas/Symantec Backup exec 10d/11d using the SSO and CASO options.
Accomplishments: Negotiated over 100,000 in savings on equipment and services in the first 6 months of employment. I have continuously saved the company money on a yearly basis by negotiating better deals on all purchases and contracts. When nobody was able to get answers from SAP the fortune 500 company on a discrepancy in pricing between two divisions, it was given to me. I went straight to the President of SAP and had a personal reply from him within 1 hour. Simply put, I get results.
Network Administrator/ Local Technology Coordinator
Duties: Create, hire, and Supervise the help desk to take care of all computer related issues for students, faculty and staff. Fill in for instructors to teach various classes as needed Speech, Typing, English, Networking, Math etc. as well as giving presentations to both staff, students and the general public. Disaster recovery, backup, asset management, inventory control and software license management were also part of my job function
Accomplishments: Started and trained a help desk from scratch. Setup and Managed the first ever large scale school Wireless Network with 500 plus wireless laptop students. IBM/HP/Compaq/Dell laptop computers as well as IBM Netfinity Servers, HP pro curve switches and Cisco AP 340 wireless access points were all used.
Network / PC Technician
Duties: Network Administration and Implementation using NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 server and workstation. Part of a team responsible for maintaining Active Directory, Network Security, PC's, switches, printers, Access Points and routers for over 100 stores and 12 warehouses. This included doing new Store, Warehouse, and Office rollouts.
Duties: Network Administration, including building workstations and servers. Installing networks, on and offsite customer support for Hardware, Software and Network problems. Responsible for all Networks, PC's and plotters in over 60 Truss plants
MIS, LAN Systems Technician
Duties: Building and maintaining all aspects of a LAN environment including servers, workstations and laptops. Disaster Recovery, building and upgrading Servers and Workstations. This also included help desk and trouble-shooting. Implementation of OS/2 Warp rollout to 2000 workstations. Implement and finish shutdown of Rocky Point location when company changed business plan.
