Responsibilities:

Created Linux servers to replace aging Windows servers for specific purposes, such as an email gateway server, server to receive customer feed mill orders, and to communicate securely between Case Farms and the State of North Carolina for employee payroll matters.
Installed and configured Cisco Router with GRE/VPN to Verizon so Case Farms’ field technicians could update our Animal Management system in real-time, using hand-held scanners connected through Verizon’s cellular network tunneled in to our corporate network.
Reacted and recovered from 2 ransomware incidents. Guided local department co-workers in containing the attack while mitigating its effects.
