SUMMARY:
- In the Confidential, I used IBM S/36, S/38, and AS/400 to develop and maintain shipping documentation systems in RPG II, RPG III, COBOL, CLP, SQL, Query, and OS/400. In case the company required, I would support other departments while developing some systems, such as security systems, banking systems, MAPICS, manufacture systems...etc.
- I used IBM AS/400 to develop and maintain distribution systems in RPG, CLP, SQL, PROGEN, EDI, DDS, etc.
- I was using IBM AS/400 to develop and maintain BPCS and legacy systems in AS/SET, RPG, ILE, CLP, SQL, EDI, DDS, etc. The MIS team finished BPCS 6.0 conversion for year 2000 projects. EDI mapping is my job duties too. I use GenTran/400 to do all transactions, like 810, 823, 850, 875, 880, and ASN etc. up to 4010 standard.
- I used IBM AS/400 to develop and maintain Future Three (aka Infor), EXTOL, BPCS and outside BPCS systems in AS/SET, Hawkeye, Implementer, Mplus, RPG, DBU, ILE, CLP, SQL, QUERY, DDS, etc. I was handling all EDI related jobs, projects, and a lot of new communication improvements, such as Ford and Chrysler ANX projects, SDC VPN projects, sun down bisynchronous communication projects, and XML training. To apply all OEMs’ mandate, I needed to coordinate roll out schedules, test new specification and implement requirement changes on time. In supplier side, I used EXTOL system to manage all suppliers including our home company in Japan via VPN tunnel. I also in charged i5 570 server 5 LPARs upgrade as a project leader, from model selection to final migration (go live).
- I’m currently the primary EDI support Systems Analyst. I handle multiple task/companies for any EDI related issues and support using Infor (aka Future Three) Auto - release and Lexon C.Core applications. I work with busy auto industry EDI shop, average handled 100 + tickets per month. In case the company needs, I’m doing Mapics tickets and projects support as well. I also do RPGsp programming and support to develop user friendly web programs. I am finishing our EDI system migration from Infor system to C.Core system this year.
