- Introduced MSCS Clustering within a Virtual Environment. This allows USPTO to have redundancy at an application layer while VMware High Availability provided redundancy at a server level.
- Worked with the database group and implemented Virtual SQL Servers. This has allowed USPTO to migrate databases to virtual servers and reduce the about of hardware in the datacenter.
- Implemented Raw Device Mappings so LUNs can be assigned directly to a VM without using third party applications like PowerPath.
