DOD provides the capability to allow a member enrolled in the Depart of Defense system to have their claims adjudicated through an online process which utilized DB2 and MQ. All transactions occurred in real time. The portal also provided for allowing members to browse their history online through a GUI front end. The online process leveraged checking a member's information to see if OHI information was available in which claims should be adjudicated in lieu of using the member's enrollment information through the DOD application.
  • Responsible for major enhancements to the Polar application for providing the capability of viewing Household information either collectively or through each qualified Brand ID. This revision enabled the application to be able to drill down within the Household and only see a particular member’s information for a given Brand ID as opposed to being able to see across all Brand IDs if they were different within the Household.
  • Responsible for enhancing the Trigger process which allowed the Eligibility application the capability of adjusting a member’s Health information in the event that additional Health coverage has been added or removed for a given member.
