Computer Operator IV/TCTS Scheduler

Responsibilities:

  • During calendar year 2016 the TCTS Range tracked in support of the U.S. Navy: Nearly 800 missions comprised of almost 6000 sorties. Of those, 200 of those missions used the Integrated Air Defense System, targeting over 400 individual sorties.
  • Enter flight data for missions into the TCTS Mission Line Up (MLU) and to ADDS using the ASOC terminal.
  • Work side - by-side with the mission coordinator and fighter squadrons in order to make sure the mission tracking is functioning properly and reflected accurately.
  • Troubleshoot any TCTS computer system or network issues immediately upon recognition.
  • Verify all information from the squadron is reflected accurately in the MLU and ASOC.
  • Start and enable CCS and input waypoints as well as threat points required by the participating squadrons.
  • Assist the Range Training Officers (RTO’s) and controllers with mission computer and communications equipment set-up and operation for all live missions.
  • Input, monitor and change radio frequencies as needed or requested by the RTOs/Controllers
