The process used historical data from multiple sources, including customer feedback to identify and prioritize corrective actions for various enterprise products, systems, and processes. This new process helped align the various stakeholders such as the business and sales teams, development, and operations. This process allowed the Systems Engineering and Enterprise Operations teams to see the chargebacks for each system as well as the customer priority scores.

- Broke down multiple company silos. Example: requested access to corporate analytics system to compare customer reported issues with the operations team’s issues list. This data was used to set priorities based on customer value, revenue generation, and loss prevention. One of the identified items saved over $300,000/month.
- Helped create an automated intrusion detection system that required dissecting a proprietary networking protocol communicating with an IBM z/OS based mainframe.

The new software breaking system had significantly higher performance and could react quickly to multiple problem situations.
- Greenbelt project resulted in improved AP software download times from over two weeks to 3.4 hours for 2K base stations. 98.99% reduction.
- Designed and implemented a prototype Law Enforcement Monitor (CALEA). Developed method for real-time packet tracking, verification, and loss detection. Achieved 80,000 packets per second on a single V.240 Solaris workstation (required a kernel patch from Sun Microsystems as the kernel was allocating too much memory for the small voice packets) and was able to identify all lost or delayed packets.
- DLAC Loader - Saved over $500,000 by finding alternate solutions and methods for meeting project requirements. This change required convincing multiple teams to switch to using unchannelized T1s.
- Installed and supported the first Voice Signaling Gateway (provides IP-based dispatch to Nextel subscribers) in the Nextel system.
- The owner of one issued Patent for Confidential ’s Confidential .
- One of four engineers that developed world’s first analog fax Confidential . Required DSP, and embedded programming.

Provided architecture and performance reviews, and approval for all changes to systems in production, requiring a wide range of support from recommending hardware and platform changes to reviewing software implementations to ensure resilience to common failure scenarios.
- Provided oversight for on-call support for all Sabre systems. One example was preventing a core system from having to upgrade their operating system as part of the original outage mitigation recommendation. Suggested that the memory controller on the blade server card could be malfunctioning and to swap the blade with a new blade but reuse the hard drive from the failing system. The team manager came directly over after the incident to show appreciation as he knew the latest Linux OS had compatibility issues with his system and was not in agreement with the prevailing consensus.
- System Engineering team’s network and software security engineer. Received requests from many teams for support. One example, was our airline inventory team needing to keep another airline’s product operational but did not know why it quit working every couple hours.
