Responsibilities:
- As part of the Confidential Support team for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Eligibility Support, provided training and support to the management team and all PMO staff. Conducted informal one-on-one sessions, Web-Ex seminars and classroom training for Microsoft Word 2010 and 2013, including use of templates, style guides, and many shortcuts such as macros and customization of spell check. Created and maintained all materials. Conducted weekly SharePoint 365 classes for new hires and was projects go to person for SharePoint problems. Used Learning Management System (LMS) to register students, update learning records and run reports.
- At the Confidential United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) developed instructor led course for their ELIS software and delivered it remotely using Confidential . Participated in several Train the Trainer classes. Created several courses for system upgrades using Adobe Captivate.
- For the Veterans Administration VA for Vets program, conducted four-day new hire training program including customer service, resume writing, interviewing techniques and crisis intervention on phone calls. The three-hour course covered the new user interface including the use of the ribbons and Office Button. The course exercises were very successful in providing the participants with hands-on experience using Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Conducted a Train the Trainer session and was lead instructor for the classes. Also developed and trained Remedy training for several different Help Desk audiences.
- At the Confidential, delivered application training to all levels of employees. Conducted Entry on Duty training as well as customized training on Microsoft Office, WordPerfect and iManage. Revised user guides and developed customized courseware for an additional ten programs. Led the development of training programs for LiquidOffice, BlackBerry, and Remedy. This included developing the materials, and conducting Train the Trainer and end user training.
