  • Support of Confidential ’s Enterprise Backup Infrastructure. Consisting of a mixed platform environment globally.

  • Servicing in excess of 6,500 hosts. Backing up over 21 petabytes on a monthly basis.

  • Lead multiple teams in our Go-2-Green/Service Level Improvement initiatives and POC for Confidential ’s deployment of their PureDisk and NBU 5230 appliances globally.
  • In total, there were about 25 PD/NBU deployments I was involved in over the years I spent on the account. These deployments were appliances which ran on a Linux OS. Here I'd install and configure the OS and then install the backup application and configure it.
  • These efforts improved the customers SLA anywhere from 10-15 points and took them out of red and into green, which we maintained on a month to month basis.
  • Near the end of my time on this account they were converting the customer's physical clients to virtual clients and we were taking the necessary steps to revise our methods of handling them by changing over to backing up the VMDK's on the ESXi serves as opposed to treating each as a separate physical host. With multiple teams working together on this initiative it came together quite successfully. This further improved our SLA with the customer.
  • In addition to leading our off shore Operations team, out of Pune India, I also managed/mentored new US personal that came onboard over the years I spent on the account and lead them in all of the project work needed on the account.
