  • I developed this database to ensure accurate battery rotation and maintenance for all powered equipment in the facility.
  • This database replaced the manual method of writing information into a log book.
  • The database tracks the equalization status and water level of the battery and informs the user if maintenance is required.
  • It tells the equipment operator which battery to pull from the charging station depending upon the station, battery type and duration of charge.
  • The employee information is gathered by using a card reader and the remainder of the data is scanned into the database by bar codes, such as the battery station, the equipment id and the battery id.
  • It also contains reports that allow maintenance personnel to track the maintenance history, location and status for each battery. Security features prevent unauthorized users from accessing the database main menu.
  • I developed this database to track inbound and outbound shipping conveyance in order to report accurate case counts, track outbound destinations and measure the elapsed time for each transaction. This database provides analytical reports and allows management to input targets to measure employee performance.
  • Users can remain seated on their equipment. All data is gathered by scanning bar codes for user id, transaction type, destination(s) and case count per destination and has the ability to complete or reset the transaction without the use of a keyboard or mouse.
